Custom ProPhoto Blog+Site

I’ve got another custom ProPhoto blog+site to share today. This one was created for Kristin Greenwald Photography. For this project the client had a lot of elements that she wanted included on the main page….slideshow, galleries grid, welcome message, latest tweet, social media icons, as well as, blog posts. And on the client’s design wish list was to somehow have a wood background, damask print, and burlap texture incorporated. The challenge was creating a design that gave the client everything she wanted, but without sacrificing the site’s usability or having it be too busy. Below is what we came up with…

    AN INTERVIEW WITH KRISTIN

*** Please tell us a little about yourself and your business. ***

I have always loved art and design, but at the risk of sounding cliche, photography is what found me. What started out as something I simply wanted to learn for myself has grown into my own business venture. {kgP} kicked off only last Fall.

*** What do you think of your new blog design? ***

It is simply fantastic and I feel it is very unique for a ProPhoto template. I am so impressed at the way Tiffany can take my blog inspiration board along with my likes && dislikes, and turn it into exactly what I was looking for. More than anything, I wanted this blog to showcase not only who I am as a photographer, but as the person who takes the photos. She absolutely met my expectations.

*** Please describe your experience working with Tiffany. ***

Tiffany is great to work with. She’s patient and open to changes/critiques/concerns. I had 15978916 questions and she answered each one with a virtual smile. Knowing how particular I am, I was nervous about keeping my changes within the allotted revisions, and when I went over, I felt she was very fair in pricing her time for me. I was comfortable and confident through the entire experience.

*** What are your future plans for Kristin Greenwald Photography? ***

Booking sessions left and right with my fabulous new blog design! In all seriousness, I feel that my blogsite now exudes the professional quality I was looking for in order to grow in this marketplace. A consistent stream of quality sessions and my own personal && professional growth is the short term goal, while developing my brand as a boutique photography studio is to be the end result.
