We’re incredibly excited to share this custom responsive website we created for our long-time client Kody Diane Photography. Kody has specialized in senior portraits for several years, and just recently added a new family division to her business. Therefore, it was a great time for her to upgrade her website to reflect the change and freshen up the design.
Kody’s new responsive website is powered by WordPress and built on the Genesis framework. It features two distinct sections…one for seniors and one for families, which are accessed via the new dynamic landing page. Each section of the site has its own navigation menu, subtle style differences, custom footers, and blog pages. This allows for each type of prospective client to have a more targeted user experience, while also allowing Kody the convenience of having only one WordPress installation to maintain.
We’re so in love with the site’s finished design. It features dramatic full-screen images, embedded videos, content animations, and stylish editorial-inspired typography. Check out the highlight video and screenshots below!
Interview with Kody
Please tell us a little about yourself and your business. Kody Diane Photography is a boutique senior portrait studio, serving Central Texas. We provide a luxury experience to high school seniors in and around Austin, looking for something modern, editorial, and outside the norm of traditional senior portraits. Kody has a love for all things fashion and girly, and lives her fashion dreams vicariously through her clients.
What do you think of your new design? After using several previous designers, I can finally say that what you see on my website and in my collateral represents what KDP is all about. High End, modern, edgy, while still being feminine, classic and girly (the perfect description of my clients as well). Everything is so polished and cohesive now, I am so proud to show my brand and website off!
Please describe your experience working with Tiffany. Tiffany was amazing! I have a hard time vocalizing what I want, and through pin boards and my ramblings she was able to pinpoint exactly what I was after and bring it to life! Our life has had a huge adjustment with the addition of a baby right in the middle of our design process and Tiffany was so patient with me, and still got the job done in amazing time! She basically made every little detail of what I was after come to life, from my one of a kind header to the editorial/magazine feel of the site. In a very oversaturated field where everyone pulls inspiration from everyone else, I am so proud to have a website like none other I have seen!
What are your future plans for Kody Diane Photography? The sky is the limit in my opinion. I plan to keep learning and bringing exciting new options to my clients, and expanding and growing KDP into the one and only options for Central Texas seniors wanting an absolute one of a kind and over the top portrait experience.
